Lakeside Michigan Modern
A Chicago family has owned a little cabin on this Lake Michigan waterfront for over 20 years in charming Lakeside, MI. After selling their tech business they decided to build their dream home. A modern midcentury home with large window views, large decks, and warm materials with blues and greens throughout to bring in the colors the client loves from the Lake.
The ceilings in the main space are very lofty and we took advantage of that volume by creating the beautiful walnut kitchen and wine bar that are over 10ft in height. Zellige tiles give that pop of color the client was looking for. Meile appliances throughout were the perfect match for the modern kitchen.
