Historic River House
COZY LAKEFRONT LIVING MEETS ART GALLERY AESTHETICStep into River House, a historic property on the Kalamazoo River leading to Lake Michigan. When we started, the home was dark with vintage wood on every wall and floor surface. We carefully saved and restored the paneling and floors while adding clean modern elements. Old elements were given new life with freshly painted surfaces, dynamic lighting, and a funky cocktail lounge on the lower level. To add space for family and guests, the addition created 3 new bedrooms and two new bathrooms for easy entertaining. Bright pops from colorful custom cabinets and art on a backdrop of crisp white truly make this home shine.
